Pileated Woodpeckers in love
This how to get the guy... Pileated style <-- (click here) The female Pileated just pulled out a nice juicy grub (see next blog entry) and you can hear the male calling in the background. He flies in to this snag and she moves out of the way and lets him have the good spot! How sweet is that?

Hi, Burdr. No I don't use YouTube because the video loses so much detail in the conversion process.
